Bauer Pottery Returns

Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges, within 30 days of invoice date, of all unused and undamaged, first-quality merchandise purchased either via or ordered over the phone from the factory office. If you purchased from one of the many retail outlets that carry Bauer Pottery, please contact them directly regarding returns. Any items purchased during our online Seconds Sale are final, and as such we cannot accept returns or exchanges for them.

Refunds or exchanges will be made for the full invoiced value of your pottery only. We cannot offer refunds on any shipping costs unless your pottery arrived damaged, defective, or was incorrect (see below). Please note that you will also be responsible for the cost of shipping new pottery, should you choose to do an exchange.

Please DO NOT return any pottery to Bauer without contacting us to receive a return authorization.

Damages/Defects/Incorrect Item Shipped

If your pottery arrives damaged, defective, or is not the correct item you ordered, you must contact Bauer Pottery Company within 5 days of delivery to report it. Please retain all packaging materials, as we may require photographic evidence to process a claim with the shipping carrier. Important: DO NOT return any damaged or incorrect items before contacting us.

Returning A Gift?

For gift returns, you may choose to exchange the pottery, receive a credit in the form of a Bauer Pottery E-Gift Card, or a refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

How to Pack

Please retain all of the packaging material that arrived with your order so that it may be used in repacking and returning the pottery. If the packaging has settled or if you are not returning your entire order, please compensate by adding additional padding between and around the pieces to be returned. There should be significant padding between the pieces of pottery and between the pottery and the interior sides of the boxes; the pottery should not shift around inside the box once it is closed.

Bauer Pottery Company is not responsible for any damage to pottery that occurs during the return shipment. Should your return arrive back to Bauer damaged, you will need to process an insurance claim with your carrier; we strongly recommend using a carrier such as FedEx or UPS for all returns.

Please enclose a copy of the original invoice so that we can process your order completely and efficiently. Include all pertinent contact information (phone number, email, address), that may not be included on the printed invoice, especially with regard to gift or registry orders. We do not retain customer credit card information, so we need to be able to contact you to process any refunds.

Ship your items to the attention of “RETURNS” at the address on the top left of the invoice:
